How can I change the program owner?
Sometimes, you want to change the program owner because they either no longer want to manage CoffeePals or are leaving the organization. Here's how to change the program owner.
Go to the dashboard. Send the command "Dashboard" to the app in a personal message. This will send you a login link to access the dashboard.
Once you are in the dashboard, click the Programs button in the left menu to show the list of programs.
Find and click the program you wish to configure
Click the Configuration tab
Open the Program Details section by clicking Edit, and press the Edit Admins button
Find the admin you want to make the new owner (if there are no admins, you will have to first the user as an admin)
Press on the Downward Arrow next to "Admin"
Click on Transfer Ownership
A program can have only one owner.
If the current owner left the organization without transferring ownership to someone else, you can send an email to support@coffeepals.com asking to transfer ownership, while:
CC'ing the email of the current owner
Specifying who the new owner should be (including their email)
Specifying which programs should be updated
Your request will be processed within 48 hours and you will be notified once the change is done!
