How to Create a Rule-Based Audience in CoffeePals

Rule-based audiences in CoffeePals allow you to automatically group users based on attributes like department, start date, location, and more. These audiences dynamically update as users join or change within your organization, making them ideal for onboarding programs, departmental connections, and other automated workflows.

🚀 Steps to Create a Rule-Based Audience

Navigate to the Audience Page From the left-side menu in the CoffeePals dashboard, click on Users -> Audiences.

Click “Create a new Audience"
In the top right corner of the page, click the “Create a New Audience” button.

Select “Create using attributes and rules”
From the audience type options, choose “Create using attributes and rules”

Name Your Audience
Give your audience a descriptive name that reflects its purpose (e.g., New Hires - Last 3 Months, Sales & HR Team).

Set Your Rules
Use the attribute rule builder to define the criteria for your audience. You can add one or multiple rules. Examples include:
- Start date is within the last 3 months
- Department is Sales or HR
- Location is Toronto

Create the Audience
Click “Create Audience” to create your rule-based audience.

⚙️ How It Works

- Once saved, CoffeePals will automatically add users to this audience if they meet all the rules you’ve defined.
- If a user’s attributes change and no longer match the rules, they will be automatically removed from the audience.
- New users who join your workspace and match the criteria will also be added automatically.

This ensures your audience stays up to date with no manual effort.
