How to Import User Attributes from Your HRIS


CoffeePals allows you to seamlessly import user attributes from your HRIS system to automate profile setup and power features like rule-based audiences. By connecting your HRIS, you can ensure your user data stays accurate and up to date with no manual effort.


🚀 Steps to Import Attributes from Your HRIS


  1. Navigate to Organization Settings

From the left-side menu, go to Settings → Organization Settings.


  1. Connect Your HRIS

Scroll down to the Integrations section and click **“Connect HRIS.” ** Here, it will walk you through the setup process with your HRIS platform.


  1. Select Departments to Import

Choose which departments you’d like to sync from your HRIS. This allows you to scope your data import to specific parts of your organization.


  1. Choose Attributes to Import

You’ll be presented with a list of available attributes. Select the attributes you want to sync into CoffeePals.

Here are the user attributes currently available for import:


  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Display Name
  • Email
  • Department Name
  • Division
  • Employment Status
  • Employment Start Date
  • Employment End Date
  • Works Remote
  • Preferred Language
  • Timezone
  • Birthday
  • Job Title


These attributes can be used in rule-based audiences to automate segmentation and matching (e.g., creating an audience for new hires or remote workers).


User attribute changes for HRIS attributes can only be managed within your HRIS platform, they cannot be changed in CoffeePals.
