How to create a manual audience

How to Create a Custom Audience in CoffeePals

Custom audiences in CoffeePals allow you to manually select specific users to be part of an audience. These audiences are ideal when you want full control over who’s included—such as for pilots, ambassador programs, or curated connection groups.

🚀 Steps to Create a Custom Audience

Navigate to the Audience Page
From the left-side menu in the CoffeePals dashboard, click on Users → Audiences.

Click “Create a New Audience”
In the top right corner of the page, click the “Create a New Audience” button.

Select “Create manually”
From the audience type options, choose “Create manually” to begin creating a custom audience.

Name Your Audience
Give your audience a clear and descriptive name that reflects its purpose (e.g., Ambassador Team, Leadership Cohort, Test Group).

Add Users
Use the dropdown search field to find and select the users you’d like to include. You can add as many users as needed by selecting them one by one.

Users must be invited already, or have installed the CoffeePals app in Slack or Teams
Create the Audience
Click “Create Audience” to finalize and save your custom audience.

⚙️ How It Works

- Users are only added to the audience if you manually select them.
- Users will not be automatically added or removed—you have complete control.
- You can edit the audience at any time to add or remove members as your needs evolve.

Custom audiences are perfect when you want to hand-pick participants for personalized experiences, early access groups, or special campaigns.
