How to: Match users within the same groups
How to Set Up Within-Group Matching in CoffeePals
CoffeePals gives you the flexibility to create unique connection experiences within your organization. With the Within-Group Matching feature, you can create different groups, and we will match users within the same group. This ensures that users connect with colleagues who share common interests, departments, or other group identifiers.
Within-Group Matching is available on our Pro and Enterprise plans!
Get Started With Within-Group Matching
To get started, make sure you've created an audience..
Log into the Dashboard.

Click the "Create a new program" button.
Using the "Type Filter," choose Within-Group Matching.
Select "Intra-Group Coffees! 🙌" for the generic template or one of our themed templates.

During setup, you can create the groups that CoffeePals will match within. Some examples include departments, project teams, or interest groups. Get creative and design an experience tailored to your team's needs!

Once you initiate the program, CoffeePals will send a message to each user asking which group they belong to. Alternatively, you can assign groups manually as outlined below.
If a user doesn't select a group, they will not be considered for matching.
