☕ Random Matching

What it is:
Participants are randomly matched with each other every cycle.

Best for:
Creating spontaneous connections across your entire team or organization without predefined structure.

🔄 Cross-Group Matching

What it is:
Admins define different groups (e.g., departments, locations, roles), and participants self-select into the group they belong to. CoffeePals then ensures that users are always matched with someone from a different group.

Best for:

• Cross-department collaboration
• Connecting remote offices
• Introducing new hires to experienced ambassador employees

👥 Intra-Group Matching

What it is:
Just like Cross-Group Matching, admins define the groups and users self-select into them. However, with Intra-Group Matching, CoffeePals matches people within the same group.

Best for:

• Book clubs
• Language-based matching
• Interest-based communities where commonality is key

🌐 Cross-Audience Matching

What it is:
CoffeePals matches participants from different audiences. Audiences could be Teams channels, Slack channels, or custom-defined groups using our attribute rule builder.

• Team or department collaboration across silos

🎟️ Lottery Matching

What it is:
Each cycle, a designated host is matched with one person or a small group of people.

What it is:
Instead of real-time meetings, Coffee Maker posts fun and thought-provoking conversation prompts in your channel. This asynchronous format allows users to connect over shared interests and discussions.
